Update from George
January has been an extremely successful month for SVVC. Congratulations to all teams for your successes, efforts and great attitude. All of our teams are well on their way to solid placement in the various age group divisions as we proceed through the qualifying tournaments. A special “Great Job” to 18-Christy for her teams exciting play at the Fiesta Classic in Arizona and to 16-Ki for valuable experience gained at the same tournament.
We are proud of each of the players and coaches for their fine efforts. I would also like to thank the vast majority of our parents for their positive support of their daughters, this club, and volleyball in general. I would like to recognize a number of teams that have already had first place finishes in January: 18- Ki, 18-Christy, 16-Ki, 16-Whitney, 16-Chris, 16-Jed, 17-Jed, 16-Evren, 16-Jenn, 15-Jeff, 13-Brooke, and 14-Erin.
I would like to complement each one of you for being such great people to work with. Thank you. During February, I would like to see a real focus on consistent, aggressive serving and all out desire to play tenacious defense. I would encourage each player to pick up his or her intensity level. Don’t wait to be told- Do it on your own!
Remember we are all one big team and that means: Together Everyone Achieves More.

As George noted above it has been a busy month and we are now hoping you have all learned how to check your players account and pay online or bring a check into the gym. If not just give email us at svvc@fea.net and we will get you up to speed. We have two more big uniform orders coming from the manufactures and so the players that ordered two or three of everything will be caught up soon. Please email Trisha at trishatedrow@cox.net and she will be glad to look it up for you. Also if you need to order uniform pieces we now just use the order forms in the gray boxes by the side entrance. Online store is shut down.
Volleyball Festival Update:
Well it looks like a record number of teams are going to be traveling to Reno this season. The dates have moved one day later so SVVC will travel on Sat June 30th and return on Sat July 7th. Parents can go online at www.volleyball-festival.com and check on schedules, hotels, etc.
Payment Schedule starts Feb. 5th $330
Mar. 5th $330
Apr. 5th $230 ($100 payment paid in Jan)
You need to have your player bring a check to her coach by those dates and we can use cc#’s if you want (visa or mc) to call the office.
